Dallas does get it now and then, but not enough to have any plows. I landed there in the morning a few years back after a big snow on a snow packed runway and it felt like we had touched down on an unimproved dirt road. For a minute I thought the gear might collapse. Did you go out today? How were all them Texas drivers in that stuff? Bless yalls' hearts.
Yeah, we got out okay. The roads were actually pretty empty because school was canceled and no one dared go out. They sure don't know how to deal with the stuff. Ian ran into a couple of girls stuck on a ramp at school and they were balling hysterically. He ended up moving their car for them. They asked if he came from a place with a lot of snow. He just looked at them and said, "I'm from San Diego."
